Analysing Key Issues in Fragile Contexts

Fragile contexts are shaped by multiple and interconnected shocks. The Timbuktu Institute develops in-depth thematic analyses to support partners in better targeting their interventions.

Our priority thematic areas include in particular:

• climate shocks and community resilience;
• youth employment and socio-economic inclusion;
• gender-based violence;
• community dynamics and social cohesion;
• governance and institutional stability.

These analyses enable programmes to be adapted to on-the-ground realities and help strengthen their impact in complex environments.
